INFERNAL ASSAULT started in 2007.

When Oscar Lopez had ideas for some thrash songs but no band was really starting. At this point Oscar decided to put up some solo recordings (about 4 songs) with a drum machine on a solo project Myspace page. With a lack of a name Oscars sister pitched the idea of  "Infernal Assault" (had nothing at all to do with "infernal overkill" or "nuclear assault" as many would assume) sounded cool and he decided to stick with it.

Then Chris “Shabooba” had hit up Oscar to play guitar for the band but instead “Shabooba” had ended up playing bass and backup vocals.

Then Oscar invited Ramses aka "Beerhead" to join the band in November as a rhythm guitarist.

Then Austin (lead guitarist for Arsenal) offered to play drums for the band for a short while from late 2007 till March of 2008.

 Around may 2008 Ramses "Beerhead" quit the band.

Around august of 2008 we had decided to put the band Infernal Assault and Iron Saint together with Igor (lead guitar,& vocals) and Frankie on drums from Iron Saint. This would of completed both bands and added newer material.

Due to complications with Frankie not agreeing with everyone, he was fired and we stuck with the name infernal assault and had to cancel a couple of shows around September and October of 2008.

Without a drummer we searched until Murphy Juarez aka "Smurph" the vocalist from "Rapid Crossfire" offered to play drums for Infernal Assault.

We decided to kick out Murphy on August 2010 due to being "irresponsible" and ditching out on band practices

from time to time.

Oscar Lopez former lead/rhythm guitar for this band is now on the drums, thus leaving the current line up
